Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and motivation to improving South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) companies through an engagement with all the agency's senior managers in a strategic planning session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric final exams.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% with the registered pupils in the schooling sector.
These learners accomplished a commendable pass rate of 86%.
